Had a copyright issue with the music on my other 3 2k 8 vid so I put up another version without the music. We shot primarily Fulton Arms and Bushmaster .223, a Remington 40x .22 BR, S&W .17 HMR and a couple of the most explosive shots were with a .300 Win Mag loaded with a 50gr Vmax sabot round@4700+ fps. The .50BMG did not see much action on this trip, maybe we will have better luck later in the season. This is the latest vid following a March 08 Ranch Trip. Please see DRTYFN’s vids for more footage of some our earlier escapades. Much of this footage was shot with a “rifle cam” mount attached to my AR.

to chicagofusion I know it’s hard to believe but farmers usually end up hiring folks like IMFlecth007 and myself to control the varmint situation that arises on the farms. Varmints can range from prarie dogs, racoons, rats, rabbits, fox, coyotes etc. I personal use Hornaby’s .17 hmr magnum rimfire ammo.

those are prarie dogs, they dig holes and destroy ground, eat a lot of grass that takes away from your cattle, and with cattle there is a chance that they will step in the hole and hurt themselves casting the farmer money this is done to save the farmer money.

Most of the shots in this vid are with an AR-15 in .223.
December 9th, 2010 at 12:46 pm

Nice marksmanship, but what does killing such tiny game proove?
Honestly what is the point?
December 9th, 2010 at 3:58 pm
The rifle you hear for most of the video is shot with an AR-15 in .223. The sound you hear is the compression and expansion of the recoil buffer spring in the buttstock.
December 9th, 2010 at 4:14 pm
why does it sound like an air rifle? All i hear is a loud spring, very rarely do i hear the report of the rifle…?

@duknud…an open reed call used to growl and ki-yi to mimic a pup in distress, then rabbit distress…the ki-yi is what stopped him for the shot…The call itself is a prototype I made from and old open reed call…I am working with a friend to get it to market.
December 9th, 2010 at 6:30 pm
nice shot….what kind of call is that?
