Finally got lucky after some of the hardest hunting I have ever seen turkey hunting. Set up on this bird the morning before and he wouldn’t even look at a decoy or the calls. The birds would not gobble at all this late in the year down there. I decided to set up the double bull in the middle of the field we spotted him in and sat it out for three hours. After calling every couple minutes and seeing nothing he finally showed up. A hen walked by off camera but the three decoys I had set out turned out to be to irresistable. It was an awesome hunt and the biggest bird I have ever killed. Although you can’t tell on this video, it took him about 15 minutes to actually come all the way in. He was the boss around there as you can see him turn and send that other big gobbler in the other direction. I didnt have a mouth call so I just had to make my best effort at a turkey call to get him to put his head up for a shot. Full Throttle Outdoors
