Bobcat hunting quail in Arizona desert. This bobcat is young and a little nervous. The bobcat is also new at hunting, just learning the patience for a good varmint hunt. Bobcats (lynx) and mountain lion(s) are common here. However, mountain lion sightings are rare. Mountain lions are sighted occasionally in the early morning or at dusk hunting for prey. You can hear the quail going crazy in the background warning each other about the bobcat in the area. bobcat hunting bobcats mountain lion lynx mountain lions desert deserts cat cats dangerous quail rabbits

This is the instructional video for the Yella-Fella distress call made by Red River Calls. This call will produce excellent rabbit distress as well as some awesome coyote sounds such as barks howls and my favorite is the ki-yis or the hurt coyote sounds.

Another video the animal “rights” people are gonna be mad about. Me, Nick, and Cameron doing some night varmint calling in west Texas. Called in three bobcats and one coyote this night. Used a Winchester 22-250 and an open reed jackrabbit call. PETA can kiss it. Full Throttle Outdoors
I called this coyote in with an open reed hand call at first light. He showed up less than a minute into the stand and sat down about 40 yards away. I didn’t have permission to hunt here so I didn’t shoot, I was just sitting on the side of the road leaning against a telephone pole. You can hear a car or two driving behind me. There’s actually two coyotes, the second one showed up a minute or two later and hung up at the edge of the vinyard in the background.
