   how much rise do you get out of the 55 grain bullet in your model 70. when i tried that load i had about a 6 inch rise from 50 to 100 and about a 12 inch rise at 200.

    In Alberta, if you have gophers, you will also have badgers. The badgers really destroy a field with their digging. I shoot a tremendous amount of gophers and get paid very well by farmers. Usually use a .22 rimfire CZ but when the females are pregnant in the spring I use a 222 or 220Swift to eradicate as many as possible. She will have from 5 to 12 pups so get them before they whelp.

    @mrsuperterd If you would take the time to check the definition of primitive, then you would realise that you only supported that indeed you are partaking in a primitive act. Primitive = early in the history of the world or of humankind. As you said, according to athropology, humans have been doing what you do from the beginning, thus it’s a primitive act. It is an emotional act because it stimulates one’s emotions.
