I mounted my camera to my Benjamin Discovery and shot some things today. I was shooting rotten crab apples. I apologize for the poor quality video.

@phgHunter
what kind of scope were you using but my mother just got me a gamo varmit hunter with a lazer and a flash light

The power level depends on thee gun. Anything by Center Point or Leapers is a good choice.

hay ive been looking for a scope what kind do you prefer ??

where can i find a scope cam

i’m still going for the scuba tank, when they come with the compressor I’ll wait to see how it does and if people are satisfied I might get one.

My pump is still running strong. The gauge face plate and cover got a bit loose from use but I just had to tighten them up with some lock-tight. Next year I think Crosman is coming out with a $500-$600 electric compressor.

do you still have the benjamin air pump? I’ve gone through 3 of them, all broke pretty soon, I have the marauder back to 2000 psi to see if the 3rd pump last a bit longer, I’ve been looking @ some scuba tanks, there is one for around 400 bucks that can fill the marauder about 30 times @ 3000 psi, the pump was definitely the wrong option for me >:(

Yeah I haven’t seen too many squirrels around this fall/winter yet. Thanks for watching! Your videos encouraged me to save up some money for the Marauder.

I, like you enjoy shooting stuff ,like oranges ( we don’t have apple trees in FL) watching your videos encouraged me to get my first PCP rifle and I have to tell you that it’s the nicest/easiest gun I have ever shot with. I have some squirrels and bunnies in my property, but too few to be considered pest, so I leave’em alone to see if they decide to increase numbers, specially the rabbits

Yes. It sounds loud because of my crappy mic and the gun vibrates the camera. I should put a rubber spacer between the washer and camera next time. Thanks.

Did you have the muzzle break on the gun in this video. Nice shooting too!

Thanks.

Nice vid and shooting, sounds and looks like you’re pretty consistant with those offhand shots.
March 30th, 2010 at 3:36 am
@pelletgunhunter16 you won’t really be able to get good consitent shots at 100 yards probably…i dont own this gun but it can probably shoot out to 50 yards to 200 feet max

Haha the camera wasn’t in the scope. I just took a weaver scope ring and mounted it so it was upside down. Then I took a 3″ weaver rail and tapped out a hole to allow for a quarter inch bolt to pass through which is the same size as the tripod mount on the camera. I screwed the bolt in, slid the rail on, and put a nut on to hold the rail down then mounted the rail in the mount. I just found a .png (see through) image of scope reticules and overlapped it over the video.
March 30th, 2010 at 4:30 am
wow thats a perfect camera mount you go there. there is no black ring around it. how did you mount your camera?
March 30th, 2010 at 4:51 am
It isn’t the most powerful PCP but it is more powerful than most springers. It can hit things at 100 yards. If you can make a head shot you can kill squirrels and stuff like that. The pellet slows down a lot at that range.
March 30th, 2010 at 5:23 am
do u think u can shoot some stuff at 100 yards with that gun im looking to buy one but i want to see if it can hit stuff at 100 yards with some power
March 30th, 2010 at 6:18 am
Discovery. It wasn’t my real scope. The camera was actually mounted on top of the scope. The reticule is just a .png image laid over top of the video.

What gun are you using? Benjamin disco? Also what scope is that cause it is a nice one
