The barrel is 2 inches shorter, so it is less accurate than the carbine version, but for the average shooter it’s negligible.
I have heard some people complain about the sights, but I haven’t hada problem with them.

The earmuffs actually worked very well.
Also, because of all of the paperwork you have to do at the border, taking it back up would be to much of a hassle, so it was a one time thing.

If you live in a country w/modern medical care your ears will wear out before you do. Why rush that?

it don’t matter i only shot it like once in the air for new year so does that damage my ear 1 time only? anyway my dad own a shotgun,m1 carbine and ruger 10 22 and the .22 i never use protection cause it sound louder then a pellet gun only by a little bit.

real man don’t use ear plug on .22 . my dad had a m1 carbine and it .30 carbine and it very loud i don’t even use ear plug

We decided to go shooting, but we were on a lake in the middle of Ontario and all we had was an old pair of chainsaw earmuffs, they worked rather well.
