Good shots clean kills looks like a good day. What I find so funny is that these people that are bitching about us hunting animals any animals no matter what it is. They don’t understand about conservation and preservation at all I’m not a scientific man, I am a redneck and proud of it. I love hunting trapping and fishing but PETA and any other animal rights activists don’t see the part us hunters see the fun not just about shooting and killing the animal but being out in the field enjoying nat

@calebuga1 lol, it was dead before it felt anything. The nerves sometimes make them squirm after they are dead. That sucker was long gone before he touched the ground.

I know they’re a vermin they ruin your crops ect.ect. But do you really have to take so much pleasure in the bloodshed? Its slightly disgusting.

January 1st, 2011 at 9:01 pm
Ok I am going to get a big gun to blow up varmits just you you guys did, but I am having trouble deciding. Can somebody tell me which would be better for blowing up stuff, a 308 or a 270?
January 1st, 2011 at 9:49 pm
it would be more humane if they would have put it out of its misery instead of watching it die in front of them
January 1st, 2011 at 10:24 pm
shut up
January 1st, 2011 at 10:42 pm
Nice!!……lol
January 1st, 2011 at 11:26 pm
IMO that was about a clean of a shot as ANYONE is gonna get. The little guy was just a trooper and kept hanging on. Most prairie dogs would have went FAR before he actually walked over to him.
January 1st, 2011 at 11:34 pm
Always make sure you have enough caliber when hunting.
January 1st, 2011 at 11:39 pm
hahaha nice exit wound
January 2nd, 2011 at 12:29 am
Well said. No one ever feels sorry for a pest like a spider, fly, bugs etc when they are bothering them, but funny how they feel sorry for animals that don’t cause them any problems such as the prairie dog. It is sad, but humans come first and the gunshot is ultimately way more humane then what most farmers do!

Nice video of the deer. I’m a ground squirrel shooter here in San Diego.. I love going out with the airguns. Those lil buggers are a challenge for sure.

My son and I are looking for new places to hunt squirrel? Where were you? I’m assuming you’re in CA. Thx.

@robocopleith Thanks, Mine prefers the 18 grain JSB as well, but in this case I am hunting in the CA Condor non-lead zone so I am shooting Dynamic PCP-2 tin pellets which are 14.5 grains. Glad you enjoyed the video!
