My dad and I took 3 days to shoot this hog….while we scouted for 2 days we saw 5 deer, 15 hogs, 1 snake and a coyote. On the third day we finaly shot this Wild hog. It was about 8:45 am, I was sitting in the field when I saw the hog run out at 80 yards. The hog was at a slow trot, I whistled to stop him, I had about 5 seconds to shoot and I took the shot. The pig dropped and then jumped up, I quickly took another off hand shot and hit the pig again and it dropped. The hog is about 200 lbs, give or take a few. The camera was not on for the shot, The hog was near the tree line across from where this was video taped.
