Predator Xtreme editor Ralph Lermayer speaks with Hunter’s Specialties pro-staffer Al Morris about what it takes to get into the sport of predator hunting.
I hear coyotes often while hunting just thought this was a little much. It goes on alot longer than what I have in this video.

If your new to callin’ ‘yotes or want to try it, I suggest getting Randy Anderson’s “callin’ all coyotes” video. (he’s made 3 I think) start with the first one. VERY informative and educational, you’ll be a pro in no time ! Good luck out there and may you always call ‘em in !

that would be true 20-30 years ago, but now if u live in an area where gov. pays for the coyotes you kill, you can only get about 20 bucks for 1, and 5-10 dollars for the fur from a fur buyer
December 23rd, 2010 at 10:50 pm

Hides have a swing in pricing just like anything else. 10 bucks today can change to 70 or more next year. It is a matter of supply and demand.
December 24th, 2010 at 3:18 am
thats bullshit you only get like 10 dollars for it
December 24th, 2010 at 3:33 am
Not only the hide but coyote and foxes have decimated the rabbit and grouse populations where I hunt. also wild feral cats have too.

You can take the whole coyote to a trader.
He will pay a good hundred dollars or so for it depending on the condition of it, or you can sell the hide. The hides usually sell for a good amount.
December 24th, 2010 at 4:37 am
Yeah most people sell the hides
December 24th, 2010 at 4:45 am
OK, so what does one do with the dead coyote? Is the hide good for anything?

i would walk over there an stalk one….i shot one from 40 yards with my bow…hit the shoulder blade…jumped a fence and i didnt know who owned the property, and it was dark, and the rain washed the blood trail away the next day..but i think i killed him cause he spun out and rolled over a couple times…and the arrow hit a tree while he was runnin and there was blood all down the tree and splatter on the ground…ther wasnt a great blood trail but it was decent(the coyote was fightin dogs b4
