This video is a demonstration of the Gamo CFX Pellet rifle. This rifle is capable of firing pellets at over 1000 fps. It is an excellent varmint hunter for keeping your grounds free of those pests, or, if you prefer, for squirrel and bird hunting. Equipped with a scope, a light and a laser, you can hunt into the dark hours when many pests are active. Excuse my shirt sleeve, which obscures the most important part of the video, but I still think you will get the point of the rifle. Soon, I hope to have a video showing the rifle’s capabilities in the dusk till dark hours.

i dont think its a good idea using any pellets rather than lead. they are too light, and after shooting these pellets for a while, it seems to be the equivalent to dry firing the rifle, which any air rifle owner knows that dry firing doesnt do much good at all. just stick with good old lead, it flies true enough.

are you concidering selling it?
December 12th, 2010 at 5:10 am
a lead pellet will only get you about 750-800 fps in .177.

@woodworm4224 It’s not hard to load quickly, but you have to be careful that the pellet is fully seated or you will deform the tail end of the pellet when you close the chamber. that will lead to an inaccurate shot

December 12th, 2010 at 9:25 am
You’re more than welcome to show me how to do it by making your own dumb video showcasing your marksmanship.
December 12th, 2010 at 9:34 am
this is the dumbest video i have ever seen. you suck as a marksman.
December 12th, 2010 at 10:26 am
i have camo cfx and it very good for hunting birds !
December 12th, 2010 at 10:34 am
Absolutely. I think air rifles get overlooked in that role sometimes. With the newer pellets, like the gold plated and polymer tipped, you can get really great velocity and penetration.

Sweet rifle.
Great survival tool for taking small game.
