Whats with all them running shots???!!! WOW!! Very inpressive! What kind of guns are you using? Well, from one coyote hunter to another…. GOOD job! We are practicing up for this coming ‘yote killin… check out last years 1/2 assin it: “coyote montage” in the search.

You didn’t get one thing right in your comment. Coyotes are not dogs. Coyotes are responsible for decimating herds and more seriously attacks on humans. While majority of hunters do not eat them some do. Useing a call is really the only way to get them to come out of hiding because they are a hunter and not prey. Occasionally you are lucky and stumble upon one. If you don’t agree with hunting coyotes that is one thing but you are obviously uninformed about coyotes.

what is the point of harvesting animals that are basically dogs, do no damage and you cant eat them? then by using calls you take all the sport out of it!

Gary uses Cains Modern Call, calls. Gary has been predator hunting for a long time now and has worked out a number of different sounds to produce from the calls. Gary goes over some of this in Tools of the Trade on our Maximum Predator Control DVD.

It all depends, if you do every thing right you could see them in minutes, or none at all. If they are in the area you have a 50/50 chance they will come to you. Mix up your calling techniques and sounds, use cammo, cover scents, and or decoys. It also depends on the terrain you hunt how far do they have to travel to get to you and so on. Wish there was an easy answer for you but that would take the fun out of the experience.
