This coyote was about 200 yds from the road when we came upon him. Sorry for the grainy vid, but my camera was doing its best at that range. Pretty awesome video, if you ask me. Our guide was in some kind of rush to move on, so we couldnt spend more time there, but I wish we had. Oh well…

They are very different rifles. A .22 is a much smaller cartridge, I would call it a plunking rifle. A 22-250 is a high powered rifle, that shoots very fast at the muzzle, and a very long ways (although, has a smaller bullet, has a large powder charge). We have taken coyote at over 400 yards with a 22-250, although we don’t recommend trying to shoot that far without tons of practice and confidence in your shooting.

what’s the difference between a .22 and a 22-250 or are they the same? Will either kill a coyote?

We are very fortunate to have some great sponsors. Hornady, FoxPro, Weatherby, Leupold, Natural Gear, Ghost, Danner boots, Predator Snyper Products just to name a few. We are very happy to be associated with these fine vendors.

No. A .308 was my first rifle fr hunting big game, and I have used it in coyote hunting. We now use Weatherby 22-250, rifles with Leopold glass, exclusively, fro our hunting. They are great rifles, great scopes and great binos. Keep in mind, your gun is only as good as your scope, and your practicing, so get out to the range every chance you get. Thanks for commenting. Sorry it took so long to get this to you!

Totally lame without the shot. Waste of time, go to zoo to just “look”.

We will have updates of the hunts here in shortly. These were built for a different purpose, and not meant to be up here. I just put them up here to see if anyone would watch. Please be patient as I prepare the hunts a little better. My apologies.
