Location: Cobleskill, NY TOD: Dawn Wind: 2mph NW Gun: Remington 700 ADL .22-250 with Nikon Monarch 5x20x44 nikoplex Ammo: 50gr Moly-coated Hornady v-max We tried an early morning setup on top of the large pasture downwind from some really thick brush and orchards. After 45 minutes of calling and waiting, we decided to move for a second setup on the extreme end of the pasture 500 yards away but as we came over the hill on the down wind side, he was out there!! possibly even coming in circling around originally, until we spooked him. Gaugler lined up for a long shot and made up for his 40 yard miss last week. Look for that video previously posted. Shot distance truly unknown but within in the range of 360-400yards.

Wow no kidding, ya we’re mostly right there in mont county. Haven’t hunted up north but a setup or two a year. Not much luck but we’re trying this weekend so stay tuned

Great video, keep up the good work! I hunt the dogs in Herkimer and Montgomery county as well and I know how difficult they can be to call. Have you guys ever tried hunting yotes in the Adarondac park?

22-250, oh I have one for bow hunting but never thought to bring it along for coyote hunting. We just started bringing a handsaw too just like in the bow hunting pack.
