
Around 1pm today this coyote I’ve been seeing around lately gave me a great view of it investigating what I presume are gopher holes. It actually looks much healthier today than when I was seeing it a couple of weeks ago.
Here is a Northeastern Coyote. I posted it to show how large they are compared to the Western coyote. They are well overpopulated in New York, and other parts of the Northeast.

i never saw one but i see alot of tracks in sullivan county new york

Yes they are cool animals, but they need to be hunted. They become a problem if their are to many.

I just heard a group of them vocalizing in the woods, sounded incredibly primeval, love these animals!

Where is this? Looks like my area in PA. There are lots of coyote around here too. I do hunt, but for some reason I don’t have any desire to shoot coyotes. I think they’re kind of cool.
