Coyote Goes Gopher Hunting in Merlin

Posted on 22 December 2010 by trickac

Around 1pm today this coyote I’ve been seeing around lately gave me a great view of it investigating what I presume are gopher holes. It actually looks much healthier today than when I was seeing it a couple of weeks ago.

Here is a Northeastern Coyote. I posted it to show how large they are compared to the Western coyote. They are well overpopulated in New York, and other parts of the Northeast.

Yes they are cool animals, but they need to be hunted. They become a problem if their are to many.

Where is this? Looks like my area in PA. There are lots of coyote around here too. I do hunt, but for some reason I don’t have any desire to shoot coyotes. I think they’re kind of cool.
