   The cottontail call works great on fox to. Set it down, walked about 50 yards. replayed the cottontail for about 20 minutes and had that fox. Coyotes like the cottontail and yelpin pup calls.. well worth the money on these calls. plenty loud imho.. those beasts got good ears..

   hey i just bought the #1 for red fox. and i had it out the other night and nothing came to it. is it a good quality call?

   Your right it is a Stevens and a great gun for what we use it for and the price is right!

   what rifle were you using. i know you said .223, but was it a stevens 200? i am looking on geeting either a .223 or .22-250 for coyote and varmints. any suggestions?
