A wounded coyote bites the barrel of my rifle when I approach it in the field. This footage was shot in north central Mississippi just west of Como, MS on cold January afternoon. The lesson for hunters: ALWAYS approach dangerous game with an abundance of caution, and NEVER reach for dangerous games until you are positive its dead.

I did kill it moments after I shot that video. The coyote appeared dead when I was retrieving it in the field. Shocked the fire out of me when I poked it & it snapped my gun barrel.
