1. Wife/Girlfriend Washes Hunting Clothes In Highly Scented Detergent.

If you didn’t know, when hunting you want to cover your scent as much as you can.

2.  Forget To Sight In Your Gun

It sucks shooting a trophy when you have it dead on him and somehow you still miss.

3. Forgetting Your Gun Period.

This has happened quite a few times and it is not a very enjoyable hunt when your buddy forget his gun.

4. Forgetting Your Ammo.

Once again its not very enjoyable when you have to share your ammo with your buddy and run out before prime time.

5. Drinking To Much The Night Before

This happens a lot of times, especially on an opening weekend. About 4 out of 10 hunters that drink the night before end up sleeping through the opening morning

6. Forgetting Your Tobacco.

I know a lot of people that won’t even hunt if they forgot their dip/cigarettes because it puts them in such a bad mood.

7. Not Having a Place To Hunt.

Not always the case, but having the perfect spot picked out and showing up to it with people already there is not a good feeling.

8. Vehicle Won’t Start

How fun is it when you wake up to leave to go to your spot and you have to end up walking a 5 mile hike? Take a guess.

9. There Is No Official Record of a Number 9 Hunting Mistake Known To Man.

10. Last But Not Least….. Wait For It….. Hunting With A Buddy That Brought His Girlfriend Along.

Yep you heard it. Nothing is worse than listening to your buddies girlfriend bitch and moan the whole time about being tired, ready to leave, always needing help with something, etc. etc.

There you have it. Those are my top 10 mistakes when going hunting and I’m sure a lot of people can relate to this to.

Here is a good site to find your state and check the laws and regulations on various predator hunting. Laws differ state to state so make sure you are in compliance just to be safe.

For some people its hard to find coyotes to hunt. For other people it can be hard to get coyotes away. The predators can often become a nuisance to the public and to pets or livestock. The only real way to solve this problem is to kill these varmints away. Now if you don’t want to do this yourself I’m sure their are a good number of people that will do this for you. Their is also businesses that specialize in things like this but that wouldn’t be something I would recommend because you can get it done for free if you just ask around. Or if your not into killing animals like this you can also trap them in live traps. The thing I would do is set out some bait and use a spotlight at night and catch the coyotes coming into your set up. Either way their is no real solution into just making the coyotes stop coming. You will have to take action one way or another.
