@12GaugeLosAngeles If you go out and kill coyote hunters, than good luck with with the court system fellas agreeing with you. It may be sport, but you are doing the eco system a favor.

There will be nothing to eat if Coyotes are left to reproduce non stop. Plus you get a pelt. I’ve watched our pets & wildlife in south west Michigan die off becuase of more and more coyotes, so you will get no sypathy from me.

Seriously, i agree with shooting what you eat, if you hunt for sport… you deserve to die as well. Why not? Fair game right fellas?

@skitspuce I totally agree and that’s the mentality I have. That’s why I hunt only elk and proghorn but a coyote is a varmint. They kill average six to eight calfs every year on my family’s ranch that some management is necessary.

If you’re not going to eat it, don’t shoot it.

@guinea1972 thats why i asked “where do you aim” lol on the coyote like head or body
December 13th, 2010 at 4:13 am
@lucastimmer 70mm. Although for some reason Hornady shotshells are about 2mm shorter than most other brands of shotshells. Which if you have a larger capacity shotgun, like a Mossberg 590A1, you will be able to fit 9 shells in the mag tube instead of 8.

@laxward16 As with ANY firearm…..on the target. The hollywood perception of “stick the barrel of the shotgun through the opened door, pull the trigger and spray the entire room with one shot” is absolute bullshit. You MUST aim a shotgun as with any other gun.
Even the widest patterning buckshot will create a pattern no bigger than a salad plate at 7 yards.

Where do you Aim?
Down-Range! Dummy!
Thats where you aim?

December 13th, 2010 at 4:50 am
